The Paraprofessional Preparation for Extraordinary Teaching (PPET) Program is a technology-rich, innovative approach to teacher preparation in special education targeting public school and state-operated special education program employees seeking endorsement in special education: general curriculum K-12. Participants must hold bachelor's degrees from regionally accredited universities.

Participating are George Mason, Norfolk State, Radford, James Madison, Virginia Commonwealth and Old Dominion universities.
