Students pursuing the M.A. in History at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí may participate in internships or practicum experiences for course credit. Students work with professionals in an array of fields to gain practical experience in areas like museum management, library work, archives administration, historical editing, historical preservation, exhibit construction, corporate communication, electronic records management, archaeology, or oral history collection.
The field experience may be completed at a local, national, or international site. Students receive supervision from a field advisor as well as a graduate faculty member, who assign relevant academic reading and writing work to complement the field experience.
