国产伦理's Deborah Gray has been selected to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. Gray, a clinical associate professor in the University's School of Nursing, was recognized for her significant global contributions to public health and the nursing profession. Earlier this year, Gray was selected as a Fulbright scholar Alumni Ambassador.
The Academy is an honorific society that recognizes nursing's most accomplished leaders worldwide in policy, research, practice, administration and academia. Academy Fellows, from nearly 40 countries, hold a wide variety of influential roles in health care.
Induction into the Fellowship represents more than recognition of one's accomplishments within the nursing profession. Fellows contribute their collective expertise to the academy, engaging with health leaders nationally and globally to improve health and achieve health equity by affecting policy through nursing leadership, innovation and science. With more than 2,900 Fellows, the academy represents nursing's most accomplished leaders and experts in policy, research, administration, practice, and academia worldwide.
Gray is one of the new Fellows selected from 35 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and 17 countries. The 2022 inductees will be recognized at the academy's annual , scheduled for Oct. 27 to 29 in Washington, D.C. The induction ceremony will be held on the evening of Oct. 29.
