Every semester we have a wonderful opportunity to participate in a special event offering insight into the successful teaching, research, and service experiences of an outstanding faculty member. It's called the Provost's Spotlight, and this semester the honoree is Dr. Michelle Kelley, who as a professor of psychology has published over 185 refereed articles with over 12,000 citations, is an eminent scholar, and just won the 2025 Outstanding Faculty Award from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV).
On February 25 from 12:30pm-2:00pm we invite you to learn more about Dr. Kelley's background, interests, and research trajectory. For this event, Dean of the College of Sciences, Gail Dodge, will also participate in the interview. Dean Dodge is a professor of physics and a 2015 SCHEV Outstanding Faculty Award winner.聽
The venue will be the CAVE Auditorium in the Engineering and Computational Sciences Building, and refreshments will be provided.
