About this Program

The Theatre Education Major at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí integrates theatre arts and education in the classroom, in the community, and on the stage. Part of our mission is to use the power of theatre to shape society and to change lives. We see education as the tool with which our students create the future.

Requirements

What are the requirements to apply for Theatre Education at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí?
Students entering the Bachelor of Arts program in Theatre Education should meet the minimum university admission requirements Undergraduate Admission.
  • A Performance emphasis requires an audition; a Design/Technology emphasis requires a portfolio review. These are both scheduled in Spring semesters. 

  • Performance emphasis majors are required to audition for shows, and all majors are strongly urged to audition each semester.
